MR. ZBIGNIEW WOJCIECH OKOŃSKI

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Mr. Zbigniew Okoński is a graduate of the economy faculty at the University of Gdańsk and the Agricultural Academy in Szczecin. He has gained wide-ranging managerial experience in investment holdings, trading companies, financial institutions and through his social and political activities.

As Vice Chairman of Prokom Investments he was responsible for developing the concept and coordinating the solicitation of partners for the Miasteczko Wilanow project, the most modern urban real estate project in Europe.

In 1998-2007, Mr Okoński was a member of Management Board of Prokom Investments.  Prior to that, he was Commercial Director and Management Board Member of Elektrim S.A. and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BRE S.A. and Państwowa Agencja Inwestycji Zagranicznych.

He is President of Management Board of ROBYG S.A., which is one of 10 the largest
developers in Poland. He worked in such companies as NAFTA POLSKA S.A., Elterix S.A., where he was Member of the Supervisory Board and ELEKTRIM S.A. (Director – Commercial Coordination). Mr. Okoński was also President of the Management Board of POLNORD S. A. and Vice-President of Management Board of PROKOM INVESTMENT S.A. – among other responsibilities headed one of the largest development projects (1,5 billions Euro) in Poland creation of Miasteczko Wilanów i. e. multifunctional community/sub-district of Warsaw. He is a former leader of Independent Self-governing Trade Union "Solidarity" in PHZ „Navimor”.
In 1990-1995 he was involved in politics, holding the position of Undersecretary of State in the Ministry for Foreign Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of National Defense.
