Hydrogen fuel cell powered automobiles are entering the market. The engineering and production issues associated with fuel cell hydrogen based technology are continuously being resolved. The hydrogen fuel production and distribution infrastructure has to be developed and established, to accommodate the growing need. The development of a centralized hydrogen production and distribution structure must be comparable to today's petroleum infrastructures. It has been estimated that plasma gasification can produce as much as 40,000 liters of hydrogen for each ton of municipal waste. |
